Calling for Springy Submissions

Can you make a reader smell the freshness of an April rain or inhale the intoxicating scent of lilacs? If so, I am looking for you! Any form of poetry, short story, essay or first person manuscript is acceptable. The content can be spring related or conceptual like new beginnings, growth, inspiration, birth/rebirth and so on. I'm always on the lookout for haiku, photography, or favorite recipes connected with spring, too. I look forward to your budding submissions!

Calling for winter submissions

I am looking forward to publishing this cool but warm issue. The following quotes express my sentiments about the winter season.

As winter approaches - bringing cold weather and family drama - we crave page-turners, books made for long nights and tryptophan-induced sloth. ~Sarah MacLean
"I love the scents of winter! For me, it's all about the feeling you get when you smell pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread and spruce." ~Taylor Swift
“A single poem
is worth a hundred
cozy winter nights
kind words
and healed wounds.”
~ Sanober Khan

Winter is the season's finale. It's a time of books and page-turners, snowflakes and fireplaces, gifts and Christmas sentiments. Whether you submit poetry, haiku, fiction, nonfiction, or recipes, show me specifics. Fill the submission with the season's senses.

The deadline is Dec 10, 2016

Calling for autumn word painters

I am searching for autumn word painters—writers who can calm and quiet someone with words. Writers who can soak the reader’s mind with tranquil thoughts. More than any other season, autumn colors instill calmness.

If you are up to the challenge, please submit poems, short stories, haiku, essays, studies, favourite autumn recipes, or any other form. It can relate to autumn or peaceful concepts in general.

I look forward to the colourful calm.
